Policies at a glance
Refunds, cancelling and getting your data back, for all ten tools. Each tool's name links to its own terms, which are the ones that bind.
| Tool | Refunds | How to cancel | Your data |
|---|---|---|---|
| Neverclosed | Fees for a period already charged aren't refunded, except where the law requires it. | Anytime, from the billing page or by email. It stops at the end of the period you've paid for. | Ask within 30 days after you leave for an export of your available chat transcripts. |
| TownDesk | Nothing to refund: the 90-day pilot is free and never turns into a bill. A signed paid plan sets its own terms. | The pilot ends by itself and continues only if you say so in writing. After that, 7 days' notice ends it. | A full copy of everything, in files any spreadsheet opens, any time you ask. |
| Carrier Ledger | A charge you didn't mean to make is refunded if you ask from the help page within 14 days. | The Billing button on your account page. | Your watchlist as a spreadsheet (CSV) download. |
| ClearRoster | A charge you didn't mean to make is refunded if you email within 14 days. | Manage billing on your practice page. | Every record as a download (JSON), with a check that none was altered. |
| Catalog Truth | Nothing to refund: it's free and needs no account. | Nothing to cancel. | Only weekly re-check links: delete one with the button on its page, and one nobody opens for 180 days is deleted. |
| FluxProof | Full refund if you ask within 7 days of your first payment. | The cancel link in any FluxProof email, the dashboard, or /plan/cancel. | Download your proof packets while your plan is active. |
| ProofFetch | Unused credits refunded in full if you ask within 30 days of the charge. | Nothing to cancel: credits are bought once and never renew. | Every saved response checks out offline with the open-source verifier. |
| TrailTruth | Nothing to refund: TrailTruth is free. | Nothing to cancel. | Ask and your sign-up, link and feedback are deleted within 30 days. |
| CivicDataForge | Refunded before work starts if the order is out of scope. If a public source fails, you're offered a revised delivery, credit or a refund for the undelivered part. Completed work and months already used aren't refunded. | The Stripe billing portal linked from the terms. | A private result page with downloadable, source-linked evidence. |
| Living Stack | Within 14 days of the one-time purchase. | Nothing to cancel: it's a one-time purchase. | It runs on your machine. We hold no copy. |
